Anna writes "I recently had the opportunity to paraglide, and as we know Covid has brought to our city a stand still towards my 4 charities: Anthony Walker Foundation, Amadudu, LCR Pride, and Merseyside Somali Association. So I took a leap of faith in order to raise funds for my charities, after having to cancel all of my scheduled fundraisers consisting of supper clubs, The Lord Mayors lunch and The Lord Mayors annual ball. It is painfully obvious the funds raised this year will be limited, however, the work my charities do within the Liverpool community is crucial from supporting women and children fleeing domestic violence to supporting our young LGBT community deal with life's challenges. The charities do crucial work in the city and often life saving provision is put in place for their benefactors.
Please see the YouTube link and support me to support the many people who access these services and donate whatever you can afford. Our city knows how to come together in a crisis and I'm so proud of the support I have received to date and thank you from the bottom of my heart."
