Event Description

The NatWest East Sussex Commercial Team are part of our Surrey, Sussex and West London Region who are all participating in the "Marathon of Marathons". Each office will be involved in covering the distance of a marathon collectively or individually. Between all the offices we will have  completed at least 26.3 miles x 26.3 miles a "Marathon of Marathons"!

The East Sussex Commercial Team are walking from Eastbourne over the Seven Sisters finishing at the Cuckmere River to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Diabetes UK.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice transform end of life care for the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all areas in between. St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides specialist care for people with any progressive, advanced life-limiting illness. The Hospice costs more than £5 million annually to run and with just 30% of funding coming from the NHS, so fundraising is crucial to the success of the charity we have chosen to support

Diabetes affects more people than any other serious health condition in the UK. Someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes. From care and support to prevention, campaigning, fundraising and research Diabetes UK are tackling the fastest-growing health threat in the UK
